what is year and month of manufacture of your glider,has your glider had a full inspection with a porosity test how many hours approx have you put on it,was it bought new,has it done any beach flying

just to clarify,does the glider have a inspection report with porosity assesment, and has the glider done any beach flying?, Im sure the glider may look new however a true assesment is a porosity test, hours flown is not a true indication of glider deterioration

To give you perspective!,It is the sellers responsibility to supply a aeronautical certification on the equipment they wish to sell,that way it protects the buyer and seller from redress of grievance on any item which may prove to be sub-standard.this is the way its done!
This will independently confirm what you are saying about your glider, and is standard practice throughout Europe.If you don't wish to get your glider inspected at the "sellers cost "i suggest you put a price on your glider and be done with it.when you ask people to "make an offer" you could end up with a very wide range of price variation without certification

I think in your calculation above you forgot to subtract the $1000 for the first use before applying the per hour depreciation.
I am lousy at selling stuff, I just gave away a 400 hour wing (600 hr UV) recently as I didn't think it was fair to ask money for it (zero seconds porosity on gelvenor, the new owner reckons he has a fabric treatment to fix it).
